2021 Conference Deatils
TOPIC: “The Death of the Living God”
What we determine to be truth in one area affects many other aspects of our belief system. In Christianity, one of the most commonly held truths is that in Jesus God became a human being in the fullest sense. So then, our definition of what it means to be human (our anthropology) will directly affect aspects of our Christology (our understanding of who Jesus was/is as a human being). David will establish what it means to be human, contingent upon God for life, and then ask: how could God become a man? what did it mean for Jesus Christ to die? He will also explore critically how the Church has historically answered the question: where was Jesus between death and resurrection?
